It’s a class that will literally have you jumping for joy–Bungee Fitness is the latest craze to hit the gym!

A workout that’s fun? Absolutely! Who wouldn’t want to try it? Bungee classes have been popping up around the world, and it’s no wonder. With strong ties to its Cirque du Soleil style, this class offers some serious caloric burn and a core challenge beyond what a standard plank can offer, plus pure, giggle-inducing, flat-out fun!

Students are strapped into harnesses and then clipped to a bungee, which is attached to the ceiling. The beautiful benefit to the bungee is that it can make some exercises harder and others easier. But that’s not to say that this is an easy workout. And if you are at all worried about personal limitations, don’t be afraid to seek out a one-on-one training session until you get the hang of it.
