This workshop with Macy will give you the tools, fundamentals and confidence to get you there! Macy will cover the following topics with you: Flexibility advantages Strength drills Basic body positioning and alignment Balancing Kicking to handstand We will break down handstands to better help manage each piece that is required to have the body working together harmoniously. I've been working out with Amanda and her staff at Body in Balance since 2009 - it's unlike any other fitness experience I've ever had! In small group classes you receive personalized attention and know that the instructor is mindful of your specific needs and fitness goals. And it's so much fun! There's always a huge variety of classes and special events every month inspiring me to try new things and step outside the box. Professional staff, inviting atmosphere, and killer results - the BEST place to work out on Maui!

I absolutely love everything about this studio! From the instructors, to the classes, to the students, this place is amazing! If you haven't tried a class here, you're missing out! You'll hurt in places you never knew you had...all while having a great time! Body in Balance has the most innovative classes on the island--from Aerial Yoga and Silks, to kid's ballet, TRX, Yoga, Pilates Reformer, Personal training, Hula, SUP Yoga and Pilates, Kickboxing, Sculpting, and more! So much fun!

I just started here with a 3 week trial and it's awesome! I haven't had a bad experience yet. So far I've tried Barre, Aerial Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Pole Dancing, Bungee, Sculpting classes, TRX. SO much fun and so much variety! How did I live without it? Finally I don't dread working out!

Amanda is THE instructor. She has so much knowledge and is able to tailor the class to her students. And she will challenge you. Do you want to feel like you have worked your a** off?, Do you want to feel like you are leaner, tighter? Amanda is your answer. 50s fit class is excellent.

I love a lot of things about Maui, but Body in Balance might be the icing on the cake. Warm, highly knowledge instructors and a great community. Honestly a better, more attentive and well trained work out than comparable studios in cities like NYC or LA. Wish I could bring this studio back to Manhattan.

The teacher was very informative and friendly. It was a non-judgmental environment (a necessity for yoga) and as someone who is here on vacation it was nice to go somewhere and not feel uncomfortable. I'd never taken a Yin yoga class and felt like it challenged me but was also restorative, and Kristina was there every step of the way to make sure I was comfortable and to guide us through the poses. High praise!

I recently moved to Maui and shortly after started coming to body in balance. From the very first class, everyone is so welcoming and make you feel right at home! All the instructors are so knowledgeable, welcoming, nice and provide just the amount of energy you are looking for for a class! They offer a wide variety of classes, which I LOVE! So far I have done 3 different forms of class and love them all, I can't wait to keep trying new work outs and meeting new members & instructors. 10/10 would recommend whether you are visiting and looking for a work out OR looking for a long term studio!

All the instructors are fantastic. I've worked with 4 different instructors and they were all extremely professional and knew exactly how to handle every student individually. I've lived every unique class and have had a great experience overall

Body in Balance is the best place on the West side of Maui to work out. Fantastic instructors that care about helping each client make the most of their workout and individual abilities. A huge variety of classes so you will NEVER get bored. My favorite classes are the Pilates reformer, Jumpboard, Restorative Hammock, Aerial Yoga, Foam rolling and stretching, and LYT based flow Yoga. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I look forward to my work outs several days a week at Body in Balance!

I was visiting so bought a 6 pack class. Fair price, fantastic instructors , very welcoming fellow students who were all local. I highly recommend Tara and Stephanie's Pilates classes , so fun and just hard enough! Staff is friendly , easy to find location - big thumbs up.

This is a gem of a studio. My husband and I took the pilates classes while we were visiting the area and we absolutely loved it. Most of our classes were with the amazing instructor, Stephanie. She kept the classes fun and challenging, always switching it up and keeping us on our toes (sometimes literally!). We can’t wait to come back and see all the smiling faces at the studio again.
