Body in Balance, Hawaii’s only Peak Pilates® education center, announces a new Peak Pilates® Bridge Program to introduce the Peak Pilates System to existing educators.
The Bridge Level I course, coming to Body in Balance August 8-10, is the first step towards a Peak Pilates® Comprehensive Certification. This condensed course allows instructors who may be certified from other national Pilates organizations the ability to jump right into the Peak Pilates Comprehensive Certification. The Bridge Level I provides streamlined programming and flexible learning options that simplify the standard Module 1 course work, setting instructors on the fast track to successfully growing a Peak Pilates career!
“Becoming Peak Pilates® Certified is now easier than ever with the Peak Pilates® Bridge Program,” boasts owner/operator of Body in Balance, Amanda Furgiuele.
“Instructors can expand upon their existing knowledge and gain the gold standard in Pilates Education. Plus, the program offers convenient and flexible learning options, an exceptional online learning library complete with exercise videos, podcasts, online presentations and more, and of course a rich instructor manual and DVDs that will become cornerstone resources to support any instructor’s practice.”
Existing Pilates instructors who take the Bridge Program will develop a structured approach that will allow them to give the right cue at the right time using a proven session format, exercise orders, and layering cues in a meaningful way. Instructors will be able to explore all Peak Pilates® Level I exercises for Mat, Reformer, Tower, Ladder Barrel, Small Barrel, High Low Chair, Low Chair, and Endings, as well as expand their vocabulary for alignment and movement with Peak Pilates unique Shapes in Space, Key Concepts, and Critical Connections vocabulary. An anatomy review is also part of the course, ensuring a higher level of education and understanding as it relates in a practical way to the powerhouse and posture.
